Maya is a carnivore.
And she likes cheese.
The kind made from cow’s milk.
Though she’s never had cow’s milk.
Just for the record.

I believe the correct term is omnivore because I know that I’ve seen her eat veggies. I think being a vegetarian is very much a choice made later in life (though having tasted meat I can’t imagine anybody choosing that voluntarily).

Yes, omnivore. I have seen her eat many non-meat items, and I did hear something the other day about an avocado. And really….who doesn’t like cheese (the kind made from cow’s milk)?

The definition of carnivore doesn’t exclude meat. According to my dictionary anyway, where on example of “carnivore” is “bear.” And we all know bears eat nuts and berries. As well as fish. I will concede, however, that Maya is an Omnivore. And a carnivore.

I have questions about lactose-intolerance. Like, does having milk as a child make you more or less likely to become intolerant of it?

If you have it too early, you’re more likely to be allergic.

Having dairy products too early has been linked with lots of things, including diabetes and obesity.
