Too too late on Sunday night.  Boy is playing Mortal
Kombat.  Seriously.  Use a C.  Drives me krazy.
We’re both officially grown up now–graduated (during a painfully long
ceremony) on Saturday.  Woo ha for that.

I’m getting cautiously excited about moving to Baton Rouge.
(Tim will start the doctoral program in math in the fall, assuming he
can find a job).  Don’t relish the crime, or the stinking
humidity, or the drastic reduction of square footage we can put our
selves and our (too much) stuff in.  I am looking forward to the
colors.  I’ve never been there, but it seems like it must be a
colorful place.  And I imagine that there is jazz music
everywhere…but of course that is just a dumb stereotype that my
yankee self picked up somewhere.  Real Perks: Big city=
better libraries, better food, more 24
hour establishments, public transportation, downtown with some
character, etc.  And there’s a nationally known woman’s
hospital in which to have kiddo numero dos.   And the church
is big and has things like a missions class for kids, and a ministry
whereby the young married couples take care of some things for the
widows.  That’s some cool.

My toothless wonderchild is getting better.  Her nose finally
stopped running.  I love her until my head explodes.  She
makes great talking noises now, and raspberries, and this weird
“ehh ehh ehh” sound.  Tim’s new favorite thing to do is put her up
on her hands and knees like she’s crawling.  She doesn’t, of
course.  But she does look awfully cute on her
pudge-o legs.
