So. Yesterday was an adventure. I have a couple of puke
stories, but I think I’ll spare you. Suffice it to say it is not
fun being sick when: a) there is no one home to take care of you, and
b) there is a 14 month old who needs you. BUT, then my husband
(who is the best husband EVER) came home. He brought me soup, a
lemon, some coke, and some reeses peanutbutter cups (for when I got
better). Then, he gave me a massage (I was so stinking sore) and
drew me a hot bath, and made me some soup. And I felt MUCH
better. Then, I went to bed. 15 minutes later, Maya
puked. It was the saddest thing ever. However,
whatever it is that we had seems to have spared her for the most
part–she seems fine today. Yay for that. Anyway. Big
fat eprops for my husband.

Eprops for your husband and also for you managing to care for a 14 month old while puking. I’m proud.

wow. tim can cook. i never thought he could. i lived with him many years and never saw him make more than burnt toast. and my road trip on new years has been canceled if i get my new job. so even if ya’ll were there i still would not be able to come see ya’ll again for some time.

well, not to bust your bubble, but it was soup from a can. :) Although, he can cook if he has to. In fact, if you browse through the early pages of my blog you will see pictures of a casserole he made.

Soup from a can is even more thoughtful than homemade soup, because then he has time to spend comforting you, and you get your soup sooner. So really, it’s not that tim can’t cook, it’s more like he was thinking ahead…
