Anyone who knows me well has probably been subjected to an assortment
of stories about the time I spent in Tanzania–more specifically, the
time I spent at the orphanage in Tanzania.  There is always an
ache in the pit of my stomach that comes from loving and missing the
children there.  It varies in intensity, and my soul is wearied
sometimes with the weight of the awareness of all of those motherless babies.

I would like to share a couple of things: first, an essay which I wrote shorty after returning
( http://www.geocities.com/beejuce/sonu ), and second, a link so you can see/read for yourself about Sonu–through the eyes and words of people who are still there ( http://www.lightinafrica.com/index.htm )

Happy Lovin Day everyone.  :)  I just want to say that I love
my husband a bajillion, and he’s the bestest husband in the
galaxy.   That’s all.

Well, I got sick of Maya’s hair always being in her eyes.  So here is my solution.

Today is Thursday.  We move on Saturday.  Am I packed?
Of course not.  I got a great start last week…and haven’t packed
a box since last Wednesday.  :(  I’m such a nerd.  Big
loves to you all.  Come to Baton Rouge.
