Ok, so I have finally figured out something important.  I am
usless if I get less than 8 hours of sleep.  I loose all
motivation to do anything at all.  Anything.  Which is why
there are still four loads of laundry to be done, and two to be folded
and a bathroom that needs a serious scrubbing…and dishes to be put
away (I DID, however, get them washed today).  It’s just hard to
do stuff in such little chunks of time (the chunks I’m referring to are
the ones between times that Maya needs me RIGHT NOW), and also,
apparently, I’m lazy.  For instance, right now, Maya is
asleep.  What am I doing?  Chatting online.
Thankyouverymuch.

So.  I’m going to bed by 10:30 from now on until forever.
Except on Fridays, cause Tim gets up with the baby on Saturdays (best
husband ever).

It’s lovely in Louisiana.  The high today is like 72
degrees.  Maya and I just walked up to the front of the
“community” to get our mail.  I’m dissappointed, because I ordered
some boots for Maya for Christmas, and they are STILL not here.
*sad face*

I made homemade mac-n-cheese today.  From scratch.  Maya liked it.

So, I’m still sick.  Stupid Sinuses.  BUT, it’s
Christmastime, and I just found all of my Christmas cds this
morning.  Maya and I listened to Harry Connick Jr. all morning,
and it was lovely.  Speaking of Maya, here she is after a
breakfast of blueberries (I made her a little blueberry pancake, but
she wasn’t interested, so I just gave her the berries…which she was
interested in), and also, later today, before we went to have lunch
with daddy (wearing another sweater that was mine when I was little…I
dig the pompoms).

Ugh.  Well, we all feel mostly better.  I no longer sound
like Marge Simpson, and Tim no longer sounds like an old man with
emphazema.  We did a crate load of Christmas shopping
yesterday.  It was pretty fun.  Tim’s done with classes for
awhile, and that makes me happy cause he’ll be home at 5ish every
day.  Yay!  I have to start working out again today, since
I’m not sick anymore.  I hate working out.  Blech.  Man,
why can’t excersise be more fun?  Anyway.  I’ve got to get
groceries because we have zero food in the house.  And now, some
Maya:

I am feeling pink.  Anyway.  This is just a post to say:

I defy you to find me some cuter 14 month old!  Go ahead…try.

P.S That was my sweater when I was small.

Blech blech blech.  We’re sickies here today.  All of
us.  Tim’s at work though, as he’s feeling better today than the
last few.  Maya is the best of us all.  She’s only cranky and
runny at the nose.  She’s sitting in the floor right now, playing
with a guitar stand.  It’s bigger than her.  Her favorite new
word is “go go go go go go go.”  She says it all the
time.   Being a mom is always an adventure.  Yesterday,
I found Tim’s keys in the kitchen cabinet with the tupperware.

In happy news.  The past two nights, Maya has slept 7-9 hours
straight.  That is, unless I’m getting up and putting her back to
sleep in my sleep.  :)

Big loves.
